Talk of The Town: Heritage Pizza & Taproom,

The Heritance Realty Group recently had lunch together at Heritage Pizza and Taproom.  It is located in The Colony in the Grandscape development near Nebraska Furniture Mart.  Heritage Pizza opened in April of 2017, is the first locally operated and owned, fast-casual pizza parlor and is owned by 33 Restaurant Group, which also operates Cadillac Pizza Pub (Downtown McKinney), Taverna Rossa (Plano & Southlake), Union Bear (Plano), and another eatery coming soon called the Yard (Downtown McKinney).

As a Restaurant Group they “strive to be ‘remarkable’ in every facet of [their] business” and we found that to be absolutely true with our visit. The food was exceptional, the service was extremely attentive and we truly enjoyed visiting with the General Manager, Garrett. The textures and style of Heritage are reminiscent of east coast Hamptons and we found the look and feel of the place to be extremely comfortable and relaxing. 

What makes this restaurant unique is their tap area with growlers on hand for fill and purchase.  What we loved most was the weekly events they host for the community. Every Monday night they host a Trivia Nite (7pm) where teams of 10 can compete against each other and win prizes, and Tuesday evenings starting at 5pm is Family Board Game Nite, where kids eat free and families are encouraged to bring and play board games and even share with others.
